Open your space, tap the settings icon, then tap Manage Members. From there you can share an invite link, copy a join code, or send an email invite directly. Anyone with the link or code can request to join your space.
If you received an invite link, tap it to open OurPlace and request to join. If you have a join code, open the app, tap the + button, select Join a space, and enter the 8-character code. The space owner will need to approve your request.
Yes. You can create or join multiple spaces — for example, one for your immediate family and another for grandparents. Tap the space name at the top of the screen to switch between them. The number of spaces you can join depends on your subscription tier.
Only members of your space can see the photos shared within it. OurPlace is completely private — your photos are never publicly visible, indexed by search engines, or shared with third parties.
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep premium features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, all spaces you own (including their photos and members), your membership in other spaces, and your notification tokens. This cannot be undone. You can delete your account from Settings > Danger Zone in the app, or by emailing us. See our account deletion page for full details.
Check that you have a stable internet connection. OurPlace will automatically retry failed uploads up to 3 times. If uploads keep failing, try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, contact us at support@ourplace.family and we'll help you troubleshoot.
Make sure notifications are enabled for OurPlace in your device settings:
You can also check your notification preferences within the app under Settings > Notifications.
Yes. Open any photo in full screen, then tap the download button to save it to your device's photo library. You'll need to grant OurPlace permission to save photos to your library if you haven't already.
Make sure you're signed in with the same email address you originally used. If the space owner deleted their account, the space and all its contents would have been removed. If you believe this is an error, contact us at support@ourplace.family and we'll investigate.
If you can't find an answer above, email us at support@ourplace.family and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
